We got a shoutout from Thor today on stream, everyone should pat themselves on the back for helping in this. As of now, spy.pet is still offline and we have not seen his supposed "backups" yet. This was a huge victory and even if he returns, 95% of his traffic will be gone due to the permanent loss of his primary domain. We also were checking his crypto wallet, report this if you can.

Hello all, I wanted to share that tonight we succeeded in locating the origin server, hosting provider, and sent a successful abuse complaint that resulted in the termination of spy.pet around midnight PST. A few users following this github, such as @ThatSINEWAVE can confirm. You may all starts seeing successful responses to any complaints you have submitted. I sent a mass amount tonight to all the points of contact I possibly could, with the mountain of evidence we collected (some involving illegal things with minors, let's leave it at that).

Big win tonight for the internet and the privacy of the home we call Discord. Spread the word.

Thank you all who were involved in this task force, especially @ThatSINEWAVE.

He will most likely come back on a new provider, but we will not stop our hunt.

@unkn0wncode, It's ironic that you have almost the same username as the owner of the service.

Why are people getting so upset about this when it's not anyone's fault for them writing on public discord servers, it's public already, data is just aggregated to make it easier to preview your account if you desire so. Discord has been selling your data already, instead people getting upset over website which average Joe can access, they should be blaming Discord first for not having E2E to begin with. And also if people do not want their messages being logged at all they should not be using discord. Because if Discord gets 0day exploited even your "private messages" aka Discord DM's would be available. Just my 2c. Have nice day and people should stop being such crybabies/snowflakes for something they got themselves into.

Heyy @Glass47 I'm happy you bring this up. Firstly, no, discord does not sell your data, and especially not in a way accessible to everyone. Spy.pet also allows to search by users in a huge number of servers, which makes it possible for anyone to stalk someone without needing to be in servers with them/know which servers they're in. And this is especially upsetting when it is used to facilitate targeted stalking and doxxing of people based on their personal beliefs, gender orientation and opinions (which is the case). It is true that people should pay more attention, however, when a cybercrime takes place it would be dumb not to be worried about it just because it could have happend. People should not trust discord, but that dosen't excuse anything. And also, I believe people should be able to choose who they trust to handle their data and who not. All this is especially upsetting when someone uses this to make money without caring about people's safety.

honestly don't even bother with that guy, they're probably not even gonna read it anyway and if i had to guess they already know what's wrong with spy.pet being a thing

We know and we are taking care of it as we speak, don't worry about it.
spy.pet's owner knows we are hunting him.

For unknownsrc, if you are reading this message.
We strongly suggest you stop before its too late, you have been warned here and via your various public emails.

I’m more interested in why their profiles location information shows the exact location unknowns from and also includes unknownsrc

The profiles age is only 2 days old.. Seems awfully convenient.

I think it might be just another team thats focused on taking spypet down, kinda like the shadow team that we know they made the kickthespy.pet site.
Other than unknownsrc's location, that user also has Dark Horse Team as the "Company", hmm..
